GUT FEELING

I'm really excited to announce that I've connected with Lessa Lamb, a fantastic audiobook narrator and who has agreed to producer the audiobook for Gut Feeling, my upcoming book.

Lessa Lamb.

I've met with her a couple of times and I'm very excited for how enthusiastic she is about the project. I really feel like she's got a handle on the characters and vibes of the book, and I can't wait to share it with you.

I'm deep in the throws of editing book two right now, and I'm very happy with how it's shaping up. I hope Gut Feeling does well, because I think it's a fantastic book and I think a lot people will relate to it.

ALICE

So I've been thinking a lot about my interpretation of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland that I've been cooking up for, oh, like, all my life, and I've started writing it as a novel. I've started it a few times before and rarely got particularly far into it.

I'm seven chapters into this one, and it's going pretty well. I have a good handle on what I want to do with it, and I'm looking forward to seeing how that plays out. After seeing The Backrooms a few times, I've become fascinated with the idea of liminal horror, so I'm exploring that.

In addition to the Backrooms influence, I've also leaned more into the sensory and social discomfort versus the usual trauma/mental illness Alice path that so many adaptions take. It was the path I took myself with this story until I decided I was bored of that whole deal. Trauma is played out. It's all about neurodivergent sensory overload now.

I'm pretty pumped about how it's turning out. It's flowing nicely.

It is weird to have so many active projects at once. I've got Gut Feeling almost ready to go, Uncontrollable Urge (part two after Gut Feeling) is being edited (by me), Alice is being written, Freedom of Choice (part three after Uncontrollable Urge) is finished its first draft, and I've got the audiobook for Apocalypstick to get done eventually. That one's been back-burnered a bit. Lots of stuff

I opened my Etsy store back up for a little bit. I got some messages asking me to so I figured why not.

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE

Lookit the guy they got playing young Eric Bogosian! Epic!

Okay so I've had the intention of watching this show for a while now but I'm finally getting around to it and it's really good.

Just saying.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing the best they can be under the circumstances. Life's been a lot lately.
