Well that sucks

Life stuff

You know how we moved into our dream home a few months ago? Well, our landlords sold it, and we have to be out by July 1, so we're pretty much devastated.

We knew that it was a possibility, even though they assured us it wasn't. Just based on a few red flags over the last few months, I'm not surprised they did this, but it doesn't make it any less awful. So we need to find a new place to live. Again. Sandra is absolutely beside herself. She loved this place so much.

So that sucks.

I'm in California right now visiting family. I've been writing a ton and I'm almost done with the first draft of Uncontrollable Urge, the sequel to Gut Feeling. I'm pretty happy with it so far, and I think when the whole story is done, it's going to be the best thing I've written.

I've also been drawing a bit. I broke out the pencils and charcoal and I've been at the old drafting table again. It's been fun and a great reminder that I actually can draw with traditional tools.

I've also been drawing on my ipad while I've been on this trip

Going to see The Bride in IMAX with my sister on Wednesday and I'm really excited for that. I'm very much a Bride of Frankenstein guy, in case you didn't know, so this is right in my wheelhouse. I hear it's a stealth musical too, which makes me hopeful. I'm sad it's not performing well. I want good things for Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Alright, that's about it for this update. I'm gonna go do family stuff.
