Okay, so first of all, Undertone. I knew nothing about this movie other than the title and that it had something to do with sound. That's it.

same lady, but red background

I should say, right up front, that if you have a history with miscarriage or infant loss, then this movie might not be for you.

This movie was not for me. Mostly for those reasons.

It was well made, I guess, but it felt very much like some creepy pasta nonsense prettied up in a honestly pretty impressive sound design. The theater I saw it in had a decent sound system and it was quite immersive. That's really the main positive takeaway: It sounded really interesting.

Unfortunately, it was like "In this corner of the theater is a woman screaming hysterically, while in this corner is a crying baby, while in this corner is some creepy nursery rhymes, and here's a demon voice barking ominous shit!"

It was just a lot, for not much payoff. Honesty, I literally finished watching this movie four hours ago and I couldn't tell you how it ended. I don't even remember. I just remember wanting to get the hell out of that theater because I was so agitated.

So fuck that movie in the neck.

Next.

Also some art stuff:

a drawing of Jessie Buckley as The Bride!

Here's a drawing I did of Jessie Buckley in the film Bride! which was fantastic and if you haven't seen it, you're doing it wrong.

A drawing of Mia Goth and Jacob Elrodi in Frankenstein

Also here's a drawing from Frankenstein. I'm really happy with how this one came out.

a drawing of Jon Hamm driving a car as Don Draper

Also a California Don Draper, which is really the best Don Draper.

The buyer for the house dropped out, so now we don't know what's happening. So I guess we'll just wait and see, and if they sell it, we'll move, and if not, then maybe we'll still move. Who knows. We'll see I guess.

Anyway, that's it for now! BYE!
